Biografie:
By perpetually exposing and disguising herself, Erin Frost's intimate self-portraits examine themes of identity, fantasy, and the construct of self. Told through stills and forbidden glances where the artist is at once obscured and revealed, these transformative vignettes erase the boundary between what happens behind and in front of the lens. Her recent work with embroidery and collage continues this reinvention–destroying precious, labored over prints before altering and reconstructing them.
